ifrit is a record which was supposed to be completed many years ago. then your brain gets fucked up and starts hating itself, hates its friends, hates the bones that imprisons it.

these files have been sitting on my hard drive for years, untouched and unaltered since the start of a long period of mental deterioration. ifrit is an unfinished record. unmixed, unmastered, unpolished, missing guitar parts, bass, scratch vocal takes, missing lyrics. nothing here was ever intended to be listened to. everything here is an exemplification of what it is to give up on anything that gives your life meaning.

this record is a testament to failure.

i don't care whether or not you listen to this, enjoy it, hate it, whatever. i needed to release this to exorcise every spiteful, hateful, negative emotion that consumed me in the years surrounding this record. this project is finally over.

things are getting better, little by little. embrace failure with open arms.
